Property:
EDDHA Fe / EDDHA Chelated Iron / EDDHA Iron / Fe EDDHA Iron Chelate is a highly effective chelated iron fertilizer.
EDDHA Chelated Iron is widely used in agriculture and horticulture. It belongs to the class of ethylenediamine derivatives and contains iron (Fe) in a stable chelated form, which ensures optimal absorption and utilization by plants.
Function
- EDDHA - Fe remains stable in soils with high pH levels (up to pH 9), making the soil particularly suitable for plants. Unlike non - chelated iron compounds, it resists conversion into insoluble iron oxides/hydroxides.
- The chelated structure of EDDHA chelated iron allows efficient uptake by plant roots and translocation within the plant, effectively correcting iron deficiency symptoms such as yellowing of leaves (interveinal chlorosis).
- EDDHA Fe dissolves readily in water, enabling application through various methods, including soil drenching, foliar sprays, and irrigation systems
